Daily intake home button free input instead of on the plus/minus

Is it possible to allow users to enter the amount of water as a number under daily intake in the home button of the app? Currently, if you have to enter it at the end of the day, you spend a long time adding it up. Or perhaps add options like 330ml or 500ml followed by free text input.
