AI - Automatic calorie and portion size determination via food photo

In the food module, enable the option to take or upload a photo of a meal, after which the system automatically uses image recognition:

1. names the recognized food items;
2. determines the estimated portion size;
3. enters the corresponding calories and macros into the daily total.

Functionalities

• AI image analysis – Recognizes multiple items on a single plate (e.g., chicken, broccoli, rice) and matches them with the internal food database.

• Portion scaling – Calculates gram weight or volume using a reference object (e.g. standard plate diameter) or AR ruler.

• Manual correction – User can adjust or split items if recognition is not perfect.

• Direct logging – After confirmation, the meal is automatically added to the correct mealtime.

• Feedback mechanism – App learns from corrections to make recognition more accurate.
